Ninety students from St George‘s School attended a nationhood talk conducted by the Information Department, through its Nationhood Unit of the Strategic Communications Division yesterday.
The talk ‘Our Soverign, appreciating the national flag and National Anthem of Brunei Darussalam’ sought to instil a sense of love towards the monarch and nation.
Assistant Information Officer and head of the Nationhood Unit Hajah Noorhijrah binti Haji Idris delivered the talk on the monarch, procedures to fly the national flag and the history of the national anthem, Allah Peliharakan Sultan.
Also shown were videos on Kibarkanlah Dengan Megah Bendera Negara, Semarak Pengibaran Bendera Negara and an animation Tatacara Menaikkan Bendera Negara. A quiz was also held at the end of the presentations, with prizes awarded for correct answers.
Present at the event were the school’s Principal Janidi Jingan and teachers.
