Some 42 students from the Cinta Al-Quran Programme of the RPN Kampong Panchor Village Consultative Council (MPK) attended a Fardhu Kifayah funeral management workshop at the Pengiran Anak Puteri ‘Azeemah Ni’matul Bolkiah Religious School in Kampong Mentiri yesterday.
The participants comprised 32 orphans and 10 religious school students. Also in attendance were members of the MPK RPN Kampong Panchor Zone 1 and 3 as well as parents and guardians of the students.
Acting Village Head of RPN Kampong Panchor Zone 1 and 3 Mohammad Hilmy bin Haji Ahmad was the guest of honour, while Asmady bin Ahmad was the facilitator of the workshop.
The programme concluded with the presentation of certificates and contributions derived from the Baiti Baitul Quran collection by the guest of honour to participants. – Rokiah Mahmud
