A total of 19 members of Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Military Cadet participated in the ‘Pahlawan Muda’ jungle training 2023, at the Higher Education Institution level from June 22-28 training at the Training Area of the Sungai Banyu, Tutong District.
It was organised by the Royal Brunei Armed Forces Military Cadet (KT ABDB) and the Royal Brunei Malay Reserve Regiment.
The training was aimed at exposing the participants to basic military training, strengthening camaraderie among the participants, and providing military experience.
It also assessed the leadership and administration skills and evaluated the basic military training in jungle environments of the new KT ABDB members.
Military cadets from Universiti Brunei Darussalam (UBD), Universiti Teknologi Brunei (UTB), Religious Teachers University College of Seri Begawan (KUPU SB) and Politeknik Brunei (PB) took part in the jungle training. – Rokiah Mahmud
