Brunei Darussalam strength athlete Waiz Daud emerged winner of the SBD Static Meet 2023 at the Iron Street Gym in Berakas last weekend.
Chainblock Gym duo Hamizan and Aslin clinched the first and second runners-up spots.
Meanwhile, Fauzi from Jack Gym claimed fourth place with Zainul Ariffin completing the top five.
Organised by strengthhub.bn, the event aimed to promote strongman and strength sports in Brunei Darussalam especially among the youth.
The game routines consisted log lift (max lift), 230-kilogramme axle tyre, deadlift (max rep) and 80-kilogramme sandbag to shoulder (max rep).
Participating gyms were Chainblock, Jab Gym and Iron Street Gym.
The main sponsors were SBD Brunei and JCMB Fitness while other sponsors included RPE-7 and Beast Mode Brunei.
