(ANN/KOREA HERALD) – Stray Kids are gearing up for an exciting year ahead, unveiling plans for 2025 that promise fresh music releases, an expanded world tour, and deeper connections with their global fanbase.
In a video titled “Stray Kids Step Out 2025”, shared on the group’s official channels, JYP Entertainment outlined a roadmap filled with ambitious projects and events for the year.
Building on the success of their 2024 releases, which included the ninth mini-album Ate, Japanese full-length album Giant, and special album Hop, Stray Kids plan to release two more albums in 2025. The group’s past releases in Korean, English, and Japanese have left fans eager for their next musical offerings.
Global world tour expansion
The eight-member group is set to continue their world tour, which began at Seoul’s KSPO Dome in August 2024 and has already covered 11 cities. In 2025, Stray Kids will perform in 32 cities across 48 shows, including large-scale stadium concerts in Latin America, North America, and Europe starting this March. The tour will culminate in an encore concert in Korea, marking the finale of this monumental journey.
Stray Kids have also announced their fifth fan meeting and a special collaboration with SKZoo, featuring the animal characters that represent each member. These initiatives aim to strengthen their bond with fans, offering unique opportunities for interaction.
Stray Kids solidified their status as a global K-pop powerhouse last year, with remarkable achievements on the Billboard 200 chart. Since their 2022 album Oddinary, the group has claimed six No.1 albums on the chart, including Maxident, 5-Star, Rock Star, Ate, and Hop. This feat ties them with BTS for the most No.1 albums by a K-pop act.
Notably, Stray Kids made history as the first act in the 69-year history of the Billboard 200 to have all six albums debut at No.1, cementing their legacy in the music industry.
