The stray dog issue has continued to plague residential areas throughout the country, including where I live.
As a father, I make sure to keep my young daughter indoors for the fear that she would be faced with danger, especially with the growing population of stray dogs in my area.
Once, when I came home from work, I had to spend half an hour in my car because the stray dogs had found a way into my home compound.
These dogs have also been terrorising the cat next door, forcing the family to keep the cat inside the house at the detriment of its mental health.
It’s been going on for too long, thus I urge the authorities to come up with a strategy to end the problem once and for all.
