A business premise selling Pink Princess children’s shoes, found to be made from pig skin, was ordered to immediately keep the product from being sold openly, the Syariah Affairs Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) said yesterday.
The shoes were sent to the Scientific Laboratory Services Department at the Ministry of Health for testing following a public complaint.
Based on analysis, it was found that pig skin was used to make the inner lining of the shoes.
