Towards its continuous efforts in providing the best-in-market ICT services in Brunei Darussalam, imagine Sdn Bhd yesterday met with stakeholders from various industries to highlight its latest product portfolio geared at reinforcing business operations through future-ready solutions. The event was held at Rizqun International Hotel.
Through a fireside chat with imagine’s newest partners that included the leaders of Ulap Networks Sdn Bhd, NCS Telco+ and Beyond Tomorrow Sdn Bhd, 100 attendees to imagine’s inaugural step-up conference gained insight into the latest technological developments focussing on the potential of 5G and the Internet of Things (IoT), cloud-based solutions and productivity monitoring solutions to promote operational efficiency.
imagine’s growing list of alliances, which includes partners from within the region, intends to provide Brunei organisations, regardless of size, access to ICT products and services that go beyond broadband and mobile connectivity.
Themed ‘Building a resilient future together,’ the event highlighted the importance of being future-ready through ICT to improve business interaction, promote efficiency as well as cost-effectiveness.
imagine Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Suzannawati binti Haji Suharju described imagine’s local and regional partnerships as being “valuable and forward thinking, and also in line with imagine’s vision to accelerate people and businesses into the future”.
“We offer endless possibilities to support the various industries operating in Brunei Darussalam. We believe that our presence as the preferred telco is central to the growth of ICT in the country,” she added.
Citing Brunei Vision 2035, Suzannawati emphasised that imagine stands committed to supporting the Government of His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s vision and mission, particularly through supplementing the Sultanate’s digital ecosystem.

Among imagine’s line of government and corporate beyond connectivity products to date include 5G and IoT, cloud-based solutions, data analytics, cyber security, as well as web and mobile application development – provided by both local and regional partners.
Presentations were delivered by imagine’s Head of Business Development and Partnerships for Enterprise Business Shenny Tang, Managing Director of NCS Telco+ Sami Luukkonen and ULAP Networks Head of Sales and Alliances Rod Martin.
The event continued with the Beyond Tomorrow presentation by Technical Director of Beyond Tomorrow Reuben Chiew, and the fireside chat on theme-based topics by four speakers – CEO of ULAP Networks Dominic McDonald, Reuben Chiew, Sami Luukkonen, and imagine Head of Innovation Edwin Lim.
Vice President of Business Development and Partnerships at imagine Radziman Rahman was the moderator.
