With Brunei’s weekly decrease in cases, the COVID-19 Steering Committee is in discussion to assess the easing of restrictions in schools.
This was said by Minister of Health Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham bin Haji Jaafar in a press conference yesterday.
“Alhamdulillah, with the decrease in daily cases and the high vaccination rate in the country – notably those given at least three doses of the vaccine – the COVID-19 Steering Committee is currently in discussion to assess the possibility of easing the use of face masks and antigen rapid test (ART) kits in schools,” said the minister.
Dato Seri Setia Dr Haji Mohd Isham also said an announcement would be made if there are further easing of restrictions in the Sultanate.
