Hari Raya Aidilfitri is the day of victory for Muslims after successfully fasting in the holy month and in enjoying the festivities, Muslims are urged to be consistent or Istiqamah in being faithful servants of Allah the Almighty and continue to perform good deeds in Syawal and in other months, imams said in the Friday sermon yesterday.
“Muslims should try to improve through Istiqamah, commit to be on the right path and adhere to the teachings of Islam,” said the imams.
They added that Istiqamah is a commendable attitude, adding that “a deed that is little but continuous is better than many deeds that are performed once in a while.
