State Mufti Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Dato Paduka Seri Setia (Dr) Ustaz Haji Awang Abdul Aziz bin Juned emphasised the importance of religious brotherhood and the need for students to receive proper religious education at an early age.
He said this receiving a visit from a delegation of 13 members from the Parents and Teachers Association (PTA) of Pehin Datu Seri Maharaja Secondary School in RPN Kampong Mentiri to commemorate their 30th anniversary at the State Mufti’s Office yesterday.
The visit, led by the PTA’s chairman Haji Zulkifli bin Haji Gadong, saw the delegation reminisce about the school’s history since its establishment in 1994.
Acting Director of Administration at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Saiful Nizam bin Haji Sulaiman was also present. – Daniel Lim
