Some 246 vendors are featured in this year’s Gerai Ramadhan at the Hassanal Bolkiah National Stadium car park.
The spots are filled up by businesses and young entrepreneurs including those from Tutong and Belait districts, said Rosnah Yusof and Sons Entertainment Sales and Marketing Executive Asya Fifah Khairunisa binti Ashari.
The organisers have also set up a surau and a dining area.
Vendors include young entrepreneurs, the Biltong Bros, offering South African cuisine using premium halal beef.
“It’s amazing being able to share the spirit of Ramadhan and introduce Bruneians to foreign cuisines,” said Isa Sukarni of Biltong Bros.bn.
The organisers reminded visitors to bring along their own bags and use other reusables, such as food containers, tiffin and tumblers as the gerai is part of the ‘No Plastic Bag Everyday’ initiative.
