Thirty-four St John’s School Year 11 students were feted in a graduation ceremony recently.
Members of the school’s Board of Governors Lee Yin Fah and Galen Singh attended the event.
Lee Yin Fah said, “St John’s School has been a major part of your lives as you have grown up to hone your skills, and develop your character and traits. I hope that you all will look back at the time spent together.”
He concluded his speech, noting that while the students are leaving the school, they will continue to uphold the values, teachings, and camaraderie, while believing in themselves that they can achieve great things.
The ceremony proceeded with performances by the students followed by the handing of graduation certificates.
Certificates of appreciation were also handed to Year 11 prefects for being exemplary students.
Year 11 prefect Nur Irbah Damia binti Haji Muhammad Alfie and Year 11 graduating students representatives Muhammad Adib Zarif bin Rasman and Gizelle David Nacpil expressed gratitude to teachers.
