The Examinations Division, Islamic Studies Department at the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as Secretariat of the Brunei Religious Education Examination Board, released the results of the Religious Primary School Certificate (SSSRU) held at the end of last year.
Out of a total of 4,737 candidates who sat for the exam, 2,971 passed with an achievement percentage of 62.72 per cent.
Of the total number of candidates who passed, 2,498 candidates (84.08 per cent) obtained Grade 1; 412 candidates (13.87 per cent) obtained Grade 2; and 61 candidates (2.05 per cent) obtained Grade 3.
Meanwhile, out of 19 of the 146 schools and examination centres registered for the examination, a total of 13.01 per cent, succeeded in obtaining a 100 per cent pass.
The headmasters/headmistresses of the religious schools and private candidates can collect the results and the candidates’ result slips for their respective schools on March 25 at the Examination Division office, Department of Islamic Studies located on the Ground Floor, Ministry of Religious Affairs Building, Jalan Dewan Majlis during office hours.
School candidates who have sat for the exam can get their result statement slips at their respective religious schools.
For examination candidates, parents and guardians who wish to register to obtain examination results through the short message service (SMS), can do so through the SMS service by typing KHEU (space) REG (space) EXAMINATION CENTRE NUMBER (space) CANDIDATE INDEX NUMBER and send to 8885555 for DST customers or 38666 for Progresif Sdn Bhd customers or 39966 for imagine customers.
Successful registration will be notified to the customer via SMS at no cost to the customer.
SMS exam results will only be sent to registered customers with a charge of BND1 for each SMS exam result received.
