The Ministry of Health organised a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony to mark Suri Seri Begawan (SSB) Hospital’s golden jubilee celebration at the hospital’s surau yesterday.
The hospital’s Acting Chief Executive Officer Haji Abdul Khalid As’ari bin Haji Azahari attended the ceremony which started with the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah led by Head Religious Instructor at the hospital Mohd Ali Omar bin Haji Mohd, followed by Takhtim and Doa Khatam by the medical officers and staff of the hospital.
The ceremony aimed to cultivate the culture of Al-Quran reading in line with the national vision of being a Zikir nation.
