Sri Lankan Football President Jaswar Umar made a goodwill visit to Football Association of Brunei Darussalam (FABD) President Haji Feisal bin Haji Eusoff Patail to strengthen relationships as well as an opportunity to explore areas of mutual benefit, especially in advancing the respective association’s football.
During the meeting, Haji Feisal said several developments and plans are aimed at improving the Sultanate’s current football performance.
Jaswar Umar also highlighted FABD’s active efforts in advancing the development of football from the grassroots, from youth teams up to the national level.
He is confident that the plan will also have a positive impact on the development and quality of football in Brunei Darussalam.
FABD Deputy President Haji Mahrub bin Haji Murni also attended the goodwill visit at FABD House.
Jaswar is in the country to witness the international friendly match in conjunction with FIFA Days involving the Sri Lankan team against the Brunei national team. – Azlan Othman
