SR Panaga rose to the top of the ranks, followed by SR Lumut and SR Muhammad Alam in second place and third, during the football festival at Lumut Primary School’s football field on Thursday.
The event, organised by the Lumut Primary School, provided an opportunity for students to develop their sporting skills and talents, especially in football.
The festival also aimed at instilling friendly sportsmanship at a young age.
Among the participating schools were Lumut Primary School, Panaga Primary School, and Muhammad Alam Primary School.
Co-curriculum Department officer Harmoney bin Late, the guest of honour, was welcomed by the school’s principal Hajah Mizawati binti Haji Marusin.
The guest of honour presented trophies and prizes to the winning teams.
The football festival represented a larger ongoing friendly inter-school competition, with the school slated to host the netball festival today. – Daniel Lim
