The Brunei Religious Education Certificate (SPUB) results for 1443 Hijrah/2022 for Year 10/11 students of Arabic secondary schools and Institut Tahfiz Al-Quran Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah has been released.
This was said by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA) through the Examination Department, Islamic Studies Department as the Secretariat of the Brunei Religious Education Examination Board.
Out of 936 candidates who sat for the SPUB exam, 515 or 55.02 per cent obtained at least Jayyid (credit) in all subjects taken, up by 1.24 per cent compared to 2021.
Meanwhile, 784 candidates (83.76 per cent) have obtained at least four Jayyid, an increase of 1.08 per cent from last year. Some 791 candidates (84.51 per cent) have obtained at east three Jayyid. Of the 936 candidates, 152 (16.24 per cent) obtained aggregate six to eight.
Regular candidates can obtain their result slips from their respective schools, while the slips for private candidates are available at the Examination Division office, Islamic Studies Department of the MoRA building in Jalan Dewan Majlis, Berakas during office hours.
Candidates, parents and guardians can also obtain the results through the short message service (SMS) by registering for the service by typing KHEU (space) REG (space) examination centre number (space) candidate index number (space) identification card number and send to 8885555 for DST users or 38666 for Progresif.
Successful registration will be notified via SMS at no cost. SMS exam results will only be sent to registered customers with a charge of BND1 per SMS.
Candidates interested in continuing studies at the pre university level at Hassanal Bolkiah Boys Arabic Secondary School (SMALHB) can obtain the registration and admission form starting December 27, at 8.30am at Jalan Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha. The deadline to submit the application is on January 3, 2023.
