Youth in the Belait District participated in a two-day Pengajian Daurah Kitab and Maulid Akbar programme to commemorate Maulidur Rasul, the birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) recently.
The programme was organised by the Minda Youth Movement to spread the teachings of Islam and foster ties among the youth.
The programme began at the Muhammad Jamalul Alam Mosque on October 7, with the Maulid Akhbar conducted on the night of October 8 at the Belait Riverfront Amphitheatre after the Isyak prayer. It featured lectures, studies, and research on themes and topics related to Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) and the Islamic faith. – Daniel Lim
