A total of 115 students received educational assistance from the spouses of Cabinet Ministers, Deputy Ministers, Permanent Secretaries, Deputy Permanent Secretaries, and Associate Members.
The handover ceremony at the Jerudong Sports Complex Hall on Thursday was officiated by the Minister of Culture, Youth and Sports Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Nazmi Bin Haji Awang Mohamad.
Datin Hajah Nahriah Binti Haji Awang Hasbi, representing the group, in her speech expressed hope that this assistance would motivate students to excel academically and become valuable contributors to society. She also encouraged continued support for such initiatives.
The event was attended by Permanent Secretary (Community) at the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports Dayang Hajah Nor Ashikin Binti Haji Johari, and other senior government officials. – James Kon
