The Women’s Bureau of the Kampong Sengkurong ‘B’ Village Consultative Council (MPK Sengkurong ‘B’) organised a breast cancer talk in conjunction with Breast Cancer Awareness Month.
The talk at Parkview Hotel, Jerudong saw several officers from the Ministry of Health (MoH) share information and demonstrate how to do breast examination. The event also had exhibitions on breast cancer.
Nurse officer at the Health Promotion Centre, MoH Hajah Noor Kartini binti Haji Abdul Rahman delivered a talk. The event also witnessed a sharing session from those diagnosed with breast cancer.
The talk saw attendance by Muslimah group representatives from Mukim Sengkurong including Sultan Sharif Ali Mosque in Sengkurong, Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam Mosque in Jerudong and members of the MPK Sengkurong ‘B’ Women’s Bureau.
