The Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore Lawrence Wong, along with his spouse, Madam Loo Tze Lui, and the accompanying delegation, arrived in Brunei Darussalam on Monday afternoon for a three-day working visit from December 12 to 14.
Present at Brunei International Airport to greet the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Finance of Singapore on arrival were Minister at the Prime Minister’s Office and Second Minister of Finance and Economy Dato Seri Setia Dr Awang Haji Mohd Amin Liew bin Abdullah and Pengiran Datin, and Deputy Minister (Civil Service Governance) at the Prime Minister’s Office Dato Seri Paduka Awang Mohd Riza bin Dato Paduka Haji Mohd Yunos.
Accompanying Lawrence Wong were Senior Minister and Coordinating Minister for National Security Teo Chee Hean; Minister in the Prime Minister’s Office, Second Minister for Finance and Second Minister for National Development Indranee Thurai Rajah; Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Sustainability and the Environment and Ministry of Manpower Dr Koh Poh Koon, Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Manpower Zaqy Mohamad and Senior Minister of State, Ministry of Communications and Information and Ministry of National Development Tan Kiat How.
Lawrence Wong and spouse as well as delegation are in the country to attend the 9th Young Leaders’ Programme, in which this year it is Brunei Darussalam’s turn to host the programme.
