The Brunei Netball Association (BNA) received sponsorship from Dynamik Technologies Sdn Bhd on Tuesday to support their participation in the Asian Netball Championships 2023 in Jeonju, South Korea from June 7-20.
Dynamik Technologies Chief Executive Officer Haslina binti Haji Mohd Taib presented the sponsorship to BNA President Lieutenant Colonel (Rtd) Hajah Wan Shahlimar binti Haji Suhaili.
A total of 12 players will compete, accompanied by four officials. The BNA President will also participate in the Annual General Meeting on June 15. Haslina said they have always been committed to supporting the young, particularly in the fields of technology, sports, and education.
This sponsorship holds even greater significance because it involves a team, she said.
Haslina added that the sponsorship also helped emphasise on empowering women and girls in sports as well as recognising the role sports play in building strong communities.
Knowing the coaches and individuals’ responsible for the players’ training, further gives Haslina the confidence that they are investing in the next generation, with the belief that the talented young women will go on to become future leaders.
