The Employees Trust Fund (TAP) will conduct the National Retirement Scheme (SPK) consultation session in Tutong and Temburong districts.
The consultation session is part of the ongoing initiative by TAP to ensure that its members will have comprehensive information regarding the benefits of SPK and to assist them in having options for their retirement.
For the Tutong District, the consultation will be held tomorrow at main hall of the Tutong District Civic Centre while for the Temburong District it will be on June 27 at Bumiputra Commercial Complex in Pekan Bangar. The consultation session will be carried out from 9am-4pm.
Members aged 50 below are encouraged to attend the consultation session to acquire information about the monthly annuity they will received upon retirement and the amount of SPK account savings.
Meanwhile, members that meet the requirements for withdrawal application under the existing scheme can proceed directly by submitting their application form along with documents that can be obtained via www.tap.com.bn.
Deadline for TAP/SCP/SPK withdrawal will be on June 30, while SPK withdrawals will resume on July 17.
Members aged between 50 to 59 still have the opportunity to attend the SPK Silver Generation consultation sessions that will have an impact if they opt to join SPK or defer their participation.
