Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam in partnership with Radio Television Brunei’s (RTB) Radio Services hosted 30 orphans to a sungkai event yesterday as part of the Jalinan Kasih project. The orphans were also gifted shopping vouchers.
According to general manager Miriam Wolber, the event aimed to make a positive impact on the local community, particularly during important religious observances such as Ramadhan.
She added, “This event exemplified the values of care, inclusivity, and kindness that we hold dear.”
The event was hosted by Radisson Hotel Brunei Darussalam in partnership with Radio Television Brunei’s (RTB) Radio Services as part of the Jalinan Kasih project.
Also present were Soon Lee Heavy Machinery Sdn Bhd Operation Manager Ong Chee Mang; Soon Lee Heavy Machinery Branch Manager Ang Yon Lie; RTB Acting Director Cheong Chee Keong; Assistant Head of Radio Programme Salmi binti Haji Ibrahim; Chairperson of 16th Jalinan Kasih project Muhammad Muizzuddin Asyur bin Awang Mat Japar; and other senior RTB officials. – Lyna Mohamad
