The special gallery of ‘Rambut Mulia Rasulullah Sallallahu ‘Alaihi Wassalam (SAW)’ became the main attraction since the re-opening of Balai Khazanah Islam Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah (BKISHHB) on December 12.
Thousands of visitors flocked to the gallery which continued until last Sunday. It will open again on February 18, 2023 in conjunction with the Israk Mikraj celebration.
His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam officiated the opening of the hall in October 2019.
BKISHHB is His Majesty’s initiative to preserve the heritage of Islamic scholars by escalating its development through collection and preservation activities, exhibitions, research, studies, and sharing of the progress in Islamic development through a one-stop Islamic tourism destination.
Other galleries are open for visitors from Monday to Thursday, Saturday and Sunday, from 9am to 5pm.
