The Islamic Da’wah Centre (PDI) conducted a special religious forum for the month of Ramadhan with PDI Director Haji Abdul Rajid bin Haji Mohd Salleh as the guest of honour at the Conference Hall of PDI yesterday.
Government officers and staff numbering 280 including the officers and staff at PDI attended the forum, which began with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Surah Al-Fatihah.
The forum was chaired by Tabligh Officer at PDI, Zannatul Mardiah binti Sulaiman, while the forum panellists comprised Senior Marriage Advice Services Officer at the Syariah Affairs Department Haji Abdullah Amer bin Haji Abdul Hamid and Certified Da’ie of the Brunei Islamic Religious Council (MUIB) Dayang Zati Hanani binti Dato Seri Setia Haji Rajid.
The forum aimed to discuss the responsibilities in strengthening the household by practicing to increase faith and strengthening aqidah from congregational prayer, reciting Al-Quran, Qiamullail and breaking of fast and sahur with the family.
The ceremony concluded with the recitation of Doa Peliharakan Sultan dan Negara Brunei Darussalam and Doa Terhindar Dari Wabak COVID-19.
