South Korean students attend taekwondo class

Ten students from South Korea, aged 10 to 12, had a taekwondo class at the MMA Academy in Cities Square yesterday.

Ambassador of Korea to Brunei Darussalam Kim Soung-eun attended as a guest.

The students are in the country for the Youth Cultural Winter Camp which will run until the end of this month.

According to their accompanying teacher Amy, the students have so far done cooking, drama, normal classes and camping during their time in the Sultanate.

Laksamana College of Business also welcomed the students. Organised in collaboration with external organisations in South Korea, the programme featured learning sessions on hospitality, computer science, culinary arts and English proficiency.

The camp aims to celebrate diplomatic relations between Brunei and South Korea while promoting cultural understanding, education and community engagement. – Azlan Othman
