South Korean pancake cooking lessons for 40

Forty individuals learnt how to cook Korean pancakes pajeon and hotteok at a cooking class organised by the South Korean Embassy in Brunei Darussalam to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic ties.

Chef Lee from South Korea, with extensive experience in Korean cuisine and chef at the embassy, facilitated the cooking class.

South Korean Ambassador to Brunei Darussalam Kim Soung-eun said Korean cuisine with unique flavours and elegance has won global love, particularly in Brunei. He said the cooking class was designed to teach Korean cooking as well its culture to strengthen bonds through shared cultural experience.

The envoy also shared that the embassy is looking to bring K-pop performers to mark the 40th anniversary of diplomatic relations between South Korea and Brunei. – James Kon
