The Year 7 orientation programme for 2025 began Saturday at SMJA Secondary School in the capital, setting the tone for an engaging and informative start to the academic year.
Parents and guardians saw welcoming remarks, a video presentation, and academic briefings by key speakers, including Principal Hajah Norhashimah binti Haji Burut and Cikgu Paridah binti Haji Bayong. Discussions also covered BRUCERT and school infrastructure.
Simultaneously, students registered in their respective classrooms, organised their classes, and toured the school facilities with their form teachers. The day’s events culminated in a gathering at the Mumtaz Room, where students recited Surah Al-Fatihah, took the student pledge, and participated in academic and welfare briefings.
