SM FC sent a signal of intent to their rivals on winning the BTB Management Group 11-a-side Football Championship following a comprehensive 6-1 rout over sorry KPPKSK in the opening Group ‘A’ game at the Berakas Sports Complex last weekend.
Team marksman Md Nadzrin bin Abdullah led the assault with four goals to his name with Mohd Sapri bin Haji Md Salleh and Azamain bin Haji Masri also on the score-sheet.
Sabtu bin Haji Yahya had earlier brought KPPKSK level in the 23rd minute before Md Nadzrin put the resurgent SM FC on their way to a convincing win with consecutive penalties.
The competition will continue with veteran giants PSJD taking on ITF this Friday. – Fadhil Yunus
