The Single Mothers’ Movement Association (PGIT) paid a visit to the Belait Senior Citizens Activity Centre (PKWE Belait) and the Youth and Sports Department’s Belait District branch yesterday.
PGIT President Norliha binti Haji Besar said the visit was to expose their members to institutions that support the association’s goals of empowering single mothers in Belait.
At PKWE Belait, the visitors were introduced to daily activities carried out at the centre, including cooking, sewing, religious activities and ceremonies.
At the Youth and Sports Department’s Belait District branch, association members were introduced to the department’s facilities.
