ANN/THE STAR – A man named Adiey Salleh recently shared a touching story in a TikTok video, unveiling the extent of Datuk Seri Siti Nurhaliza’s generosity.
He recounted how the singer had generously taken care of the medical bills for his child who was afflicted with a congenital heart disease.
Adiey Salleh revealed that this heartwarming incident occurred 11 years ago.
At that time, he and his wife were at the National Heart Institute (IJN) having come to the decision to go ahead with the surgery for their child.
They were planning to pay for the surgery by withdrawing funds from EPF.
“As we were at a hospital room contemplating what to do, a representative from Simply Siti came and offered financial assistance for the surgical costs,” he said.
The surgery gave Adiey an extra three months to love his child.
“My child is no longer with us. But my baby had time to run around and celebrate Hari Raya … for three months he lived with us,” he said.
Adiey added that he will forever be in Siti’s debt.
“Our family owe much gratitude to Siti … Thank you, Siti.
“I will remember this for the rest of my life. Only Allah can repay your kindness. I pray that Siti continues to be blessed by Allah.”
