The High Commissioner of Singapore to Brunei Darussalam Laurence Bay Siow Hon recently paid a visit to Chung Hua Middle School, Kuala Belait to learn more about the education institute.
Principal Dr Chong Kui Kian, deputy principal Jaime Lim and academic supervisor Yap Sin Fah as well as primary students welcomed the high commissioner.
The high commissioner learnt about the school through a series of presentations delivered by secondary students that focused on the history, facilities and achievements.
The school expressed their delight over the visit by the high commissioner as it was his first time to the district.
The visit generated an insightful dialogue on the potential of the school’s present and future exchanges with its counterparts in Singapore.
The high commissioner toured the campus, followed by an exchange of gifts to commemorate the occasion. – Daniel Lim
