Mentiri Primary School’s Sahsiah Programme organised an online event to mark World Autism Awareness Day.
It saw the attendance of over 70 officers from the Special Education Department, the school’s headmaster, assistant headmasters, teachers, special education needs assistance (SENA) teachers from Clusters 1-6, students and their family members.
The event was a gesture of support for World Autism Awareness Day held every April 2 and to motivate children and the society to work together to improve welfare, care and acceptance.
Among the activities lined up for the event were the World Autism Awareness Day logo design, and ‘circle time’ as well as work out and group photo session.
