The Muara Port Company Sdn Bhd (MPC) management and staff organised a three-day blood drive in collaboration with the Raja Isteri Pengiran Anak Saleha (RIPAS) Hospital Blood Donation Centre at the Cruise Ship Centre Terminal in Muara Port from February 14-16.
Thirty-eight employees of MPC and the Port Community rolled their sleeves up for the cause, led by Chief Executive Officer Zeng Caili, who encouraged MPC to host the event for the fifth time.
Themed ‘Donate Blood, Save Lives, We are MPC!’, the event aimed to raise MPC’s community support in the effort to provide the ‘gift of life’ through blood donations, while at the same time encouraging the public to lead a healthy lifestyle and play their part in replenishing blood reserves.
