The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf (CBTL) Brunei handed over donations and gifts to the Centre for Children with Special Needs (KACA), Society for the Management of Autism Related Issues in Training, Education and Resources (SMARTER Brunei) and Pusat Ehsan Al-AMeerah Al-Hajjah Maryam through the Caring Cup initiative yesterday.

Vice Chairman of Par Food and Beverage Sdn Bhd Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Mun’im bin Pengiran Anak Haji Tahiruddin was the guest of honour at the event.

“We hope to do a small part in contributing to the initiative by providing to the special needs children and to have a good sense of moral values,” said General Manager of CBTL Brunei Art Terrado.

The ceremony saw Yang Amat Mulia Pengiran Anak Abdul Mun’im handing over the mock cheque totalling BND6,000 as well as gift bags to the three organisations.

Receiving the cheque on behalf of KACA was its treasurer Haji Roslan bin Haji Md Hassan, Acting Chief Executive Officer of SMARTER Brunei Sharifah Adila Surya binti Malai Haji Abdullah and a representative of the Board of Trustee for Pusat Ehsan Audry Choo.
