Seven companies in Mukim Sengkurong were fined for obstructing public walkways, driveways, parking space and landscapes, said the Town and Country Planning (TCP) Department.
Four companies violated the TCP (Composition of Offences) Regulations 2018 and were issued compound fines for their first offence and three companies for their second offence, said the TCP. The companies were given seven days to settle the fines.
Business owners and the public are reminded to comply with the planning laws by obtaining permission for any development and use of land. – Azlan Othman
