Serikandi Kent awarded contract for TotalEnergies’ project

Serikandi Kent Energy Solutions Sdn Bhd was awarded the EPC Contract for TotalEnergies’ MLJ Inlet Compression Project in Brunei Darussalam, according to a statement from the company.

The project is estimated to take 24 months. Serikandi Kent Energy Solutions will manage the detailed engineering, procurement, fabrication, construction and pre-commissioning of the compressor and associated facilities.

The project looks to create additional value for the Bruneian economy, including employment and development opportunities for local Bruneians and enhanced procurement for local suppliers, said the company.

Kent Executive Vice President for Asia Pacific Joe McCormick said, “We are thrilled to extend our relationship with TotalEnergies with this first EPC project in Brunei. Kent’s global expertise, as well as Serikandi’s long-term knowledge and experience in the region, will enable us to support TotalEnergies’ work at MLJ and highlights our commitment to Brunei Vision 2035.”
