The night air in Pekan Seria, Belait District was filled with festivity during the first ever SeriaKu Ceria at Seria Energy Recreational Park.
Residents from the oil town and neighbouring areas were treated to a four-day event filled with activities.
The event, organised by Seria Energy Lab (SEL) and RYS Entertainment, featured a variety of educational activities, entertainment, art and sports as well as food and craft stalls.
Acting Belait District Officer Haji Amirol Hafidzin bin Haji Muhammad, the guest of honour, officiated the event by lighting up the logo on Saturday night. He toured booths and exhibitions set up by government agencies and groups to help the public learn about their roles through games and activities.
Haji Amirol Hafidzin also joined a night walk around the park.
Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) Commercial Director Haji Mohammad Azmi bin Haji Md Hanifah, BSP Social Investment Advisor Siti Amalina binti Harun, Head of SEL Dr Nur Karnina binti Karim and RYS Business Development Manager Foo Kian Ming were present.
RYS Entertainment, organiser of KBKu Ceria, said similar events to SeriaKu Ceria might be held in the future. – Daniel Lim
