The Seria Energy Lab (SEL) will be joining the 26th Consumer Fair, which is slated to be held from January 11 to 15, at the International Convention Centre (ICC) in Berakas.
With exciting offers, games and activities, SEL – a flagship programme of Brunei Shell Petroleum Company Sdn Bhd (BSP) – aims to support the growth of science, technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) education through interactive learning.
SEL plans to set up several activities over the course of the five-day event, such as one on 3D printers, which is one of the programmes offered under SEL’s innovation hub called ‘i-Maker’, as well as previews of upcoming activities such as ‘Biotinkering’ which is set to be released later this year.
Other activities include the ‘SEL Challenge’ where visitors can participate in quizzes, complete the modular exhibits and VEX robot challenge to win prizes.
The modular exhibits also serve to showcase SEL’s leading outreach programme ‘Siuknya Sains’ which brings science coordinators and experiments to schools and institutions to enable students to have a first-hand look and experience in learning through interactive means.
Visitors can visit SEL’s booth at the Plenary Hall, with special promotion on admission tickets as well as a variety of SEL-exclusive merchandise such as notebooks, planners, keychains, and magnets.
