Kuih Penyaram emerged as winners, followed by runners-up Kuih Sapit and Kuih Linggang in third place in the sepak takraw tournament for committee members, mosque youth and mosque congregants.
The event, at the parking area of the RPN Kampong Mata-Mata Mosque in Gadong saw the participation of six teams in a knock-out format.
The tournament was managed by imam Abdul Azim bin Haji Ismail with RPN Kampong Mata-Mata Village Head Pengiran Muhammad Nurramzu Nasri bin Pengiran Haji Mohd Salleh also present.
The tournament aimed to foster closer ties especially among the mosque community, promote cooperation and a healthy lifestyle through sport and recreation. – Fadhil Yunus
