The semi-finals of the National Al-Quran Reading Competition for Adults for 1445 Hijrah was held yesterday.
Twelve Al-Quran readers participated in the event, held at the International Convention Centre and organised by the Ministry of Religious Affairs (MoRA).
Director of Haj Management Department at MoRA Haji Abdullah bin Haji Mohamad was the guest of honour. The announcement of the finalists for Al-Quran reading competition is scheduled for tonight, with prizes and souvenirs to be awarded.
