The Ministry of Religious Affairs held the 56th session of their nightly Munajat on Saturday.
Nearly 90 mosques, suraus and religious halls nationwide took part in the Munajat which began with Sayyidul Istighfar and reading of Surah Al-Fatihah led by the Adviser of Jame’ ‘Asr Hassanil Bolkiah takmir committee Pehin Orang Kaya Seri Utama Dato Seri Setia Haji Awang Yahya bin Begawan Mudim Dato Paduka Haji Bakar.
The recitation of Surah Yaasiin was led by an officer from Usuluddin Faculty at Universiti Islam Sultan Sharif Ali (UNISSA) Muhammad Ekram `Afif bin Haji Mohd Hanafi. Doa Munajat was read by Istinbat Officer at the State Mufti’s Office Haji Jakaria bin Haji Hitam/Itam, followed by a religious talk Ya Rasulullah! Kami Sangat Mencintai Mu by Assistant Religious Officer at Islamic Da’wah Centre Pengiran Haji Reduan bin Pengiran Haji Badaruddin.
And to mark Rabiulawal, the birth month of Prophet Muhammad (pbuh), Dikir Asyraqal was led by the President of Senior Citizens (Wargamas) Association Haji Abu Bakar bin Haji Mohd Don.
Joining the religious activity were Minister of Religious Affairs Pehin Udana Khatib Dato Paduka Seri Setia Ustaz Haji Awang Badaruddin bin Pengarah Dato Paduka Haji Awang Othman and Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs Pengiran Dato Seri Paduka Haji Mohd Tashim bin Pengiran Haji Hassan.
