SEAMEO Voctech awarded for regional role in TVET

The Southeast Asian Ministers of Education Organisation for Vocational and Technical Education and Training (SEAMEO Voctech) Regional Centre received the Distinguished Partner Award from the Institute of Technical Education – Education Services (ITEES) in Singapore on Friday.

The award serves as recognition for SEAMEO Voctech’s dedication and contribution to the advancement of technical education and teacher skills development across Southeast Asia.

SEAMEO Voctech received the award in a ceremony commemorating ITEES Singapore’s 20th anniversary. The award was presented by ITEES Chairman Andrew Chong and its Chief Executive Officer Bruce Boh, acknowledging the centre’s role in supporting ITEES on its transformative journey towards global excellence in the skills development and training of the technical and vocational education and training (TVET) Teachers.

The award was accepted by SEAMEO Voctech Director Regional Centre Alias bin Haji Abu Bakar and Deputy Director of Administration Pengiran Haji Mohamad Sufri bin Pengiran Ali. – Rokiah Mahmud
