The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD), celebrated International Day of Peace through the Brunei-Muara District Scouts Association (PPDBM) with a tree-planting activity at Pusat Ehsan Al-Ameerah Al-Hajjah Maryam in Kampong Bengkurong yesterday.
Some 80 PPDBM and Pusat Ehsan members participated.
Pusat Ehsan Executive Trustee Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini binti Pengiran Dipa Negara Pengiran Haji Abdul Momin officiated.
Skipper Bolhassan bin Haji Abu Bakar presented a souvenir and a certificate to Pengiran Datin Hajah Noraini.
The International Day of Peace is marked every September 21 and is an annual activity for scouts. – Lyna Mohamad
