The Brunei Darussalam Scout Association (PPNBD) celebrated Hari Raya Aidilfitri at AMAS Lamunin building’s Ar-Rayyan Hall in the Tutong District on Saturday.
Acting Tutong District Officer Mohammad Sofian bin Haji Basri was guest of honour in the event that saw several cultural performances from villagers.
The acting district officer met delegations attending the 17th ASEAN Scout Association for Regional Cooperation (ASARC) meeting as well as scout members and villagers invited to the event.
PPNBD President Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, PPNBD Deputy President Haji Metasim bin Duraman, Scouts Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali and Deputy Chief Commissioner Mohammad Arif bin Abdul Hadi were also present.
The event was aimed at fostering ties among scout members and the Tutong community.
