It coincided with the handing-over of the Association of Top Achiever Scouts (ATAS) Membership Certificate and the Badge and Scout Participation Certificate following the 38th National Day to Rover Scouts and also to members of the Adults in Scouting.

The ceremony began with a speech from Chief Commissioner Haji Badar bin Haji Ali who congratulated and expressed his appreciation for the scout members receiving certificates and awards.

He said that the commitment of the members is important in mobilising and intensifying PPNBD programmes, with the association turning 90 years in 2023.

Haji Badar presented the certificates and awards to eight members of the Rover Scouts.

The ceremony also saw the presentation of certificates of participation to members of Rover Scouts and Adults in Scouting who joined the 38th National Day celebration.

The ceremony continued with the presentation of certificates and membership badges of the ATAS by ATAS #256 Haji Hassan bin Haji Abdul Hamid, who is the Commissioner Adults in Scouting, to five members of Adults in Scouting and four members of the Rover Scouts.

Also present during the ceremony were scout commissioners; assistant district commissioners; scout leaders, assistant scout leaders and scout members.
