The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) organised a certificate presentation for scout members who participated in activities throughout June and July.
The event was held at the Conference Room, Level 4 PPNBD Headquarters recently.
The event was held in appreciation of PPNBD members who participated in His Majesty Sultan Haji Hassanal Bolkiah Mu’izzaddin Waddaulah ibni Al-Marhum Sultan Haji Omar ‘Ali Saifuddien Sa’adul Khairi Waddien, Sultan and Yang Di-Pertuan of Brunei Darussalam’s 76th birthday celebration programmes, programmes organised by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sports, as well as programmes outside the country organised by the Scouts Association’s Sarawak Malaysia branch.
The event began with the recitation of Doa and scout oath, followed by a welcoming speech from the guest of honour, PPNBD Chief Commissioner Haji Awang Badar bin Haji Awang Ali.
The event also saw the presentation of Deputy Chief Commissioner Warrant to Mohammad Arif bin Hadi and International Commissioner Warrant to Haji Abdul Manan bin Haji Adul Latif.
Participation certificates were presented to scout members who participated in programmes including the National Quran Reading Competition for Youth 1443H, the 1st Sarawak Rover Moot, national Flag hoisting ceremony in conjunction with His Majesty’s birthday celebration, a field parade event and a festive stage performance in conjunction with His Majesty’s 76th birthday celebration.
Scout Commissioners, 1033 Rover Scouts Crew, KUPU SB Rover Scouts Crew, UNISSA Rover Scouts Crew, IGS Rover Scouts Crew, Belait Rover Scouts Crew and Temburong Rover Scouts Crew, Adult in Scouting, and Baden Powell Guild were also in attendance.
