The Brunei Darussalam Scouts Association (PPNBD) through its Religious and Female Scouts Sections organised a Khatam Al-Quran ceremony and a donation to orphans and underprivileged families at the PPNBD surau recently.
PPNBD President Dato Paduka Ar Haji Idris bin Haji Abas, the guest of honour also led the mass recitation of Surah Al-Fatihah to mark the start of the Khatam Al-Quran ceremony.
The ceremony continued with the recitation of Sayyidul Istighfar and Doa Khatam led by Acting Scouts Commissioner Religious Section Skip Haji Rosaimi bin Haji Othman followed by the presentation of donations to the 18 scout orphans.
The event concluded with the breaking of fast and mass Maghrib, Isyak and Sunnat Tarawih prayers.
